Emily Morris
Emily is a Puget Sound Washington native and a graduate from the University of Washington (UW) – go DAWGS! She grew up camping, jet-skiing, riding four-wheelers, and playing outside as all kids should. Her passion for the outdoors lead her to get a BA in Ecology, a minor in Aquatic and Fishery Science, and an emphasis on business. She worked for the Department of Ecology for five years but knew she could do more with her time to achieve her goals. Quite the frugal gal, she would pride herself on following a budget and seeing her savings grow.
Her unbridled passion for challenging herself to do more led her to real estate. With a close-knit family supporting her, she began two businesses in 2007: real estate investing and becoming a full-service real estate broker. By the age of 25, Travis and Emily had purchased two homes and a piece of land for development. Emily's confidence, go-getter, and bubbly personality was the perfect fit to help clients feel comfortable with her navigating the steps of real estate. By 2012, with Emily pregnant with their first child and have already created so much success, she brought her husband, Travis, into the business to build it to the next level.
Shortly after having their second child, Emily was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. Alongside a professional, she followed a naturopathic way back to better health through support and detoxing. After eight months of naturopathic care, her treatment culminated with completing a 2-month chemotherapy plan on December 30, 2018. By Summer 2019, she was announced cancer-free and joy spread throughout the family.
Life has thrown them curveballs, but they always persevere through as God as their strength. Emily loves to be around her friends, but will ditch them in a hot second if a good tune is played - she will be the first on the dance floor and the last to leave it. Traveling to local Washington getaways like Lake Chelan and Suncadia with the family, or Hawaii are her favorites. She has aspirations to make it back to Europe and plans to "unschool" through travel later with the kids. A personal drive to be the best she can be, Emily enjoys self-development books and it gets a ton of energy when planning for the future.
Together, Travis and Emily run Morris Real Estate Group, parent 2 kids: a girl (7) and boy (3), and live in Lake Tapps. Emily's personal mission statement: To raise individuals' personal health and personal wealth barometers through real estate.
Travis Morris
In 2013 Travis decided to join his wife’s successful real estate business in order to reach and impact more people who were looking to buy and sell real estate. He brought with him a strong resume that included expert negotiation and relationship building skills.
With over 400 homes sold, Travis has mastered the art of taking everyday homes and turning them into Top Dollar Listings and has established a reputation of being "the guy to hire" if you want the most amount of money out from your home sale.
Travis enjoys music, sports, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his family & friends.
